In Celebration of

Robert Ellacott

June 11, 1938 -  August 14, 2022

In loving memory of Robert Ellacott who passed away on August 14, 2022 at the age of 84 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Nicole for 55 years, loving father to Sean and Michelle, father in law to Marco and grandfather to Chelsea, Brendon, Dustin, Isabelle and Sarah.
Bob was a traveler who especially loved Florida. Sunday drives were a regular occurrence, always out exploring the countryside and discovering cute little towns. He enjoyed watching sports, all Toronto teams but most important, it had to be on a big screen, the bigger the better. He also loved his furry cat friends, there were always two in house to entertain him.
There are not enough words to express how much he will be missed. We will cherish our memories and he will live in our hearts and minds forever.
Our family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation for the kind support and loving personal care he received his last week at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke. In Lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Dorothy Ley Hospice for their continued support.

A Visitation will take place at our Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto) on Wednesday August 17th, 2022 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

We didn’t have lots of occasions to meet. But the moments we had will always remain in our memory. You were a wonderful person with a big hart.
Your memory will never fade. Rest in peace.

Dad, there are no words to describe how much I will miss you. You were a deep loving father and wore your big heart on your sleeve. Growing up we sometimes butted heads, words would be spoken but I knew your side was out of worry for me and you were always the first to apologize and tell me how much you loved me. There was never a time where we didn’t end a phone call or leave without saying I love you.
Sean and I had a great upbringing in a loving home with lots of love, fun game nights playing Scrabble, Rummoli and Yahtzee and of course travel and adventure. I love you so much dad, I’ll miss you beyond words and will see you again.
