Peacefully, in his sleep, Bob went to be with the Lord after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Predeceased by his loving wife Avrille of 43 years. Loving father to Shauna (Rob Bird), and Tanya (Sean Marriott). Devoted Papa to Joshua, Zachary, Liam and Rachel. Predeceased by his sister Marion. Bob will be lovingly remembered by Carole Booth. Bob will be fondly remembered by Dr. Linn Holness, the McKye family, Ted Roberts, Frank MacTaggart, the Probus Club, the Lorne Park Baptist Church family, and his many other friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Peel’ Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Lorne Park Baptist Church, 1500 Indian Road, Mississauga, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10 a.m. The family would like to thank the Sheridan Villa Spruce Lane staff for their dedicated care for Bob over the last 6 months.
