In Celebration of

Robert "Bob" Alan Watson

April 20, 1934 -  January 19, 2021

Bob passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He is survived by his daughter Linda & granddaughter Jamie and was predeceased by his son Alan & wife Mary.

Bob was one of 12 kids and is survived by his youngest brother Ted. He was predeceased by his siblings: Ruth, Jimmy, Jerry, George, Marie, Violet, Betty, Wally, Don & Joan. He was also predeceased by his father, James & mother Ruth.

Bob lived a very full life up until he had a stroke in 2017. When he was younger, he had his own horse, he raced stock cars, he coached his son in hockey & his daughter in hockey & lacrosse. He would later go on to play Oldtimers hockey himself & met many friends there. His oldtimers hockey started a yearly trip to St Pete's Beach for a tournament & would continue on for well over 40 years, long after his hockey career was over. St Pete's Beach would become a yearly family vacation every April & created many happy memories.

His only grandchild Jamie came along in 2003 and she stole her "gramps" heart & when she was old enough, she started playing softball & he never missed a game!

Bob was a friendly, easy going guy and always greeted family & friends with a smile & would be quick to offer them their "beverage" of choice.

To steal a quote from my cousin Rick after my dad's passing: "It was a life well lived!" That it was!

RIP dad & gramps.
Love Linda & Jamie xoxo

We hope to have a celebration of life at a later date when it is safe to do so. Until then hoist a glass to Bob!

Uncle Bob was the best!...he visited us in Chilliwack very often. Heaven is a better place having him there. He will sadly be missed.

I’d say ‘Rest In Peace Uncle Bob’, but knowing that you are reunited with so many siblings and other family members, there likely isn’t much peace. Enjoy the reunion. You will be missed. Hugs and kisses 💕
