We celebrate the loving life of Robert Beaven who passed away suddenly on November 5, 2019, at Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by his family at the age of 77. Devoted and adoring husband to Gail for 59 years. Loving Father to Cindy (Paul) and Julie (Arnold). Loving Papa to Katie (Jared), Pamela, Kara (Mark), Bobby, Michelle (Brian), Melinda, and Karly. Loving Great Papa to Lilly, Sophia, Miya, Elianna, Kellan, Makenna, and Isabella.

He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

A loving Husband, Father, & Papa…

Almost 59 years ago I said ‘I Do’ to the love of my life. Have I any regret? And the answer is an emphatic ‘No’. He is the most patient man, whether 20 minutes or 2 hours, I could always count on him to be there for me. He is my world, my heart, and my soul. I will miss him, always. - Queen Bee

My Dad’s gentle hugs were like no other, and made me feel so loved and special. He was the greatest father on earth, and I will cherish my Dad forever. - Luv you lots, Cindy

My Dad is the light of my life. He taught me to laugh, love, and embrace life. His infectious smile and unconditional love will live with me forever. He has shaped me into the person I am today and I miss him dearly. - Love & hugs, Julie

There are no words to articulate how papa treated us. Papa was a shoulder to lean on, an inspiration, and the rock of our family. Papa is always fashionable, but never late. We could always count on him to welcome us with a warm hug and a big smile. He adored us, and is beyond proud of each and every one of us. We love you Papa.

I had a chance to meet Robert in many special occasions and he was always smiling and in a good mood and he had such a good attitude towards life. He was very much loved by his family and friends. God Bless him and his family.

Bob was the most devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather I think I have ever known.
His love for Gail was a love like no other. Even after 59 years when they looked at each other there was still a sparkle in their eyes. Bob was a sweet and kind man and will be missed dreadfully.
R.I.P. Bob and know you will be in our hearts forever.

Good Bye: Most of you don't know that I actually met Bob about 30 years ago. I had a temporary job at Canadian Tire Distribution Centre and that is where we first met. Bob was a full timer and was on commission which meant he was business and was on a mission to go go go....I was just a temporary worker so really never got a chance to know each other, even though we came across each other many, many times.
Fast forward 14 years .... and I met this beautiful woman. We became instant friends and one thing led to another and I was invited to meet her parents. As soon as I saw Bob I recognized him from Canadian Tire and we became instant buddies. From that day forward we always made time to talk as he no longer was racing by me. I have had the honour to know and see this great man show nothing but love to everyone around him. He loved his family so much and also opened his heart and kindness to mine and would do anything for all of us. Gail, my heart aches knowing your soul mate has passed. Knowing that very few people get to have the beautiful life you both shared must give you some comfort. Cherish all the great memories and know that you are not alone . We will always be there to remind you of the great times we all had together and to support you through the hard times. Love always, Arnold

Sorry to hear this sad news. It has been many years since Bob and I have been together. I have many good memories of good times we spent together as kids. Our thoughts are with you Gail and your family.
