Rita, the matriarch of our family, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 99 at Toronto Grace Hospital. Loving wife of the late Alan (1984). Cherished mother of Sue (Ken), Sheila, the late Jon (Yvonne) and Jeremy (Anne). Dear grandmother of Erin (Mike), Alexa (Tony), Emily (German), Michael (Trin), Amanda (Dave), Samantha and Austin. Great-grandmother of Jacob, Abby, Jackson, Spencer, Dominic and Tina. Predeceased by her sister Jean, and dear aunt of Angela and Ian, in England. Rita was a talented artist, her many quilts were made with love and given to each of us to treasure. Her hands were never still and her beautiful handiwork is her legacy. She will be missed.

Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. Interment St. John’s Norway Cemetery.
