It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sherraine. Cherished Brother, Uncle, Friend, Nephew and Son. Funeral Service will be held at Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk-Erin –Mills’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills Pkwy), on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 11 am. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Keep him in mind when you have a glass of wine, a pint of beer, listen to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, David Bowie, the Ramones, or watch an episode of The Tick

Richard was a warm, kind, intelligent, and good humoured person. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew him. His kind nature, self-confidence, and non-judgemental manner drew myself and many others to him.
Richard's leadership qualities and fair treatment to all those that he knew made him an excellent work colleague.
He was often the organizational driver behind many out of work activities that friends and family members enjoyed because of his desire to enjoy life by engaging in many different types of activities and events. May he rest in peace.

I have very fond memories of Richard. Richard was my brother John's close friend. I remember all the times we had come together for celebrations, whether it be birthday's or New Years Parties of just to hang out on a weekend. I also remember those times Richard was there for John when he needed a friend the most. Rest in Peace Richard, I hope John was there to greet you in Heaven.
