On Monday, September 4, 2023 the soul of John Peter Bodner, MA, MDiv., entered the presence of his Lord and faithful Saviour, Jesus Christ. Missed and mourned by his widow, Dorothy Hazel (nee Crellin), Giselle widow of his late elder brother Matthew and his nieces Michelle Victoria and Amy Giselle. A born-again, blood-washed believer in Christ; converted 28 February 1968; baptized 11 March 1973; ordained to gospel ministry among Strict Baptists, March 10, 1984. Pastor at Grace Baptist Chapel, Napier Road, Tottenham, London, England; Lakeshore Village Baptist Church, Etobicoke, Ontario; Hope Assembly of Bible Christians, Mississauga, Ontario; Westfield Chapel, North Huron, Ontario. Itinerant preacher and pulpit supply to several churches; Baptist, Reformed, Presbyterian, and independent.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 6-9 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Peel Chapel on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11 am.

Interment at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery.
