Passed away at Kipling Acres LTC at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of Bill, mother to Elizabeth (Murray), William (Wendy) and Douglas (Kim). Grandmother to Curtis (Erin), Lindsay (Leo), Matthew and Alexander. Great Grandmother to Liam, Jackson, Sasha and Tiana. Aunt to many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Reta was predeceased by her husband of 64 years Bill, and parents Robert and Mabel McCreight. She had 10 siblings Agnes, Jean, Robert Jr, Jack/John, Orville, Gertrude, Shirley, Denzil, Arlene and Morris, and was #5 out of 11 children and was the last to pass on.

She grew up in Thessalon on the family farm. She met her husband in Toronto on a blind date and married in 1956. Reta worked for Canada Post as a Philatelic clerk behind the counter for 22 years. Reta was active with golf, bowling, softball and shuffle and enjoyed playing cards and darts. Bill and Reta loved going to Clearwater Florida in the winter where they made many friends. Reta always had an open door for friends and family. Anyone needing a place to stay knew they could count on her.

She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5 - 8 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. - The Funeral Service will be livestreamed and the link will be provided on this page 24 hours prior to the Funeral Service.

Burial at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto.
