God our heavenly Father has called His servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rene Garcia Monge, in the presence of our Blessed Mother Mary, peacefully on May 28, 2022, the vigil of the Ascension, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his first children Evelyn, Victor Hugo, and Rene Eduardo.

His beloved wife Eleonora and his dear children Landorff, Douglas (Anacarolina), and Stanley (Erena), will forever be grateful to our Father for all the moments and the time He allowed him to be with us. God’s plan and his willing participation in the service of our Lord are visible in his 11 grandchildren that he so dearly loved and constantly prayed and interceded for, so that they too, become willing servants of our Lord starting with Mariam, Lucas, Esther, Damian, Matias, Milana, Victoria, Jadon, Patricia, Rebecca, Emily.

We are deeply grateful to our Lord for having blessed us with a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle, and most importantly for having shown us his love towards God.

He will be held dearly in the hearts of his siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
