With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Renata Kasprowicz, who left us peacefully on June 15, 2025, in Toronto, just days before her 80th birthday. She was 79 years old.
Born on June 18, 1945, in Chełmża, Poland, Renata lived a life defined by strength, determination, and unconditional love. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, she was the heart and soul of her family, always offering support, wisdom, and warmth to those around her.
Renata is survived by her beloved husband Zygmunt, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. She was a cherished mother to her children: Marek (with wife Grazyna), Aleksandra (with husband Bernard), Jarek (with Theresa), Sylwia (with husband Tomek), Jadwiga (with husband Marcin), Krzysiek (with wife Maria), Arek (with wife Małgorzata), and Jacek (with wife Ilona).
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Sara, Steven, Jacob, Olivia, Andrea, Sebastian, Nicole, Chloe, Julia, Victoria, Leo, Alex, Logan, and Liam, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Loving sister to Halinka, Barbara and brother Bogdan.
Renata was the beloved daughter of the late Krystyna and Józef, and sister to the late Eugeniusz and Jadwiga. Her legacy of love, perseverance, and family devotion will live on in all who knew her.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Friday, June 20th from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Renata’s life will be held at St. Casimir’s Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
