Ransford Masefield Chambers

August 23, 1933 -  July 23, 2020

Passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side, on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Credit Valley Hospital, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Edna. Loving father of Jacqueline and Carol. Cherished Granddad of Matthew and Natalie.

Much loved brother of Daphne, Franklin, Robert, Yvonne, Jennifer and Pamella and an uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Ransford came to Canada from Jamaica in 1963, raised his family alongside his wife and spent many years as a member and volunteer at Islington United Church. His good humour, love of music and a turn on the dance floor will always be remembered.

A private family service will be held.
A future celebration of the life of Ransford will be announced at a later date.
Interment Meadowvale Cemetery.
