June 5, 1934 - August 28, 2018

Passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Devoted husband of 39 years to Nancy. Loving father of David (Tina), Darryl (Brigitte) and Dianne. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, David, Jenny and Chase. Dear brother of Doris Irvine, George Evans and Liz Schiralli. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Sunday from 11:30 am until service time at 1 pm in the Chapel. If friends so desire, memorial donations made to St. Joseph’s Health Centre or the Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre.

We met Rai when we joined ORGS. There we learned that Rai was someone to count on, ready to pitch in whenever anything was needed. He was generous with his plants, his time and his energy. Rai was a fine man and we will miss him.
Our sincere sympathy to Nancy and his family, especially his grandkids about whom he always spoke with affection.
