Rafael passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday September 12, 2024 at the age of 86. Born on December 1, 1937 in Gois, Portugal.

Beloved husband of Madalena for 53 years. Loving father of Anabela and devoted Avô to Marina.
Rafael was known as a hardworking and generous man and he had a huge love for gardening and beekeeping.
His incredible kindness will be missed by all who he touched. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Neweduk- Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, on Thursday from 12-1 p.m. Funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel.
Interment St. John Dixie Cemetery.

In lieu of flower, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Rafael.

Rafael was one of the first people I met as a new immigrant and we became good friends for the last 35 years, he was a true gentleman and a wonderful and generous man who shared his knowledge and his bounty with all. He will be terribly missed. May God grant him eternal peace.
