It is with a saddened heart that we sit here this evening to write in the guestbook of our beloved uncle. I hold so many fond memories of our times spent together back in the "good 'ol days". I recall the plethora of canaries in his basement bird sanctuary, followed by the garden pond full of gold fish. I recall the pristine gardens he tended to alongside our dear Aunt Lucy. I recall receiving my first "paid" macrame plant hanger order, from dear Uncle Paul. He wanted one made in orange. He was ahead of his time when it came to making a fashion statement. He could have taught Versace a thing or two about style as he always sported a fashionable hat at every family event.
It is with all these memories, that makes it hard to say goodbye. But peace comes to our hearts knowing that every action you performed, you did so with the intent to serve your Lord.
May you rest in the palm of the Lord's hands.
With Love until we meet again,
Christine, Steve and family
