In Celebration of

Pietro Milani

April 27, 1936 -  September 24, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro Milani on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Pietro was 1 of 10 children of Giovanni Milani and Elisa Scremin. He came to Canada from Treviso, Italy in 1957 as a young man looking for work and a better life. In 1959, he called Angela to join him and they were married at the end of the year. Pietro was a hard worker and eventually started his own carpentry company. He enjoyed making his own wine and spending time with family and friends, never turning down a game of bocce or cards.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Angela and children Graziella (Lorenzo), Carmen (Albert), Robert (Susan), and John (Deanna). He was a loving nonno to Michael (Sara), Josephine, Luca (Gabriela), Brendon, Nathaniel, Alissa, Serena, Jacob, Logan, Sarah and bisnonno to Benjamin, Lillian, Nicolás and Penélope.

Pietro is survived by his brother Eugenio and sisters Lina and Faustina. He is now reunited with deceased siblings Luigi, Ivo, Telio, Orfeo, Ferruccio and Maria.

He will stay in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
