In Celebration of

Phyllis Kramarich

December 25, 1932 -  October 27, 2023

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother in her 91st year at Post Inn Village in Oakville. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Kramarich, whom she missed since his passing in April 2017. Loving mother of Joy and her husband Walter; Pryde and her husband Jeff; Hope; Johnny and his wife Michelle. Dear grandmother of Brandon, Taylor, Brooke, Dylan Madison, Spencer and Zachary. Proud great grandmother of Harmony, Quinn and Reese. Phyllis was the last surviving of 17 children of Elmer and Bertha Walsh of Newcastle New Brunswick.

Phyllis lived a rich life. She was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone who knew her. She was devoted to her family and would warmly welcome all her friends into her home. She loved to cook, entertain, paint, travel and exercise. She loved children and worked as a teachers aid.

A service of remembrance will be held at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapter, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga on Monday November 6, 2023 at 11 a.m., with visitation commencing at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada in Phyllis’s name.

I am deeply saddened to hear of my Aunt Phyllis’ passing. She was the kindest, most considerate person I ever knew. Her love had no bounds and she was cherished by all of the Walsh family. My condolences to Joy, Pryde, Hope, Johnny, and all the grandchildren. May she now be happy, reunited with Uncle Tom in heaven.

It's hard not to imagine the Kramarich household around Christmas time without the countless tins of delicious cookies, baked by your mother. Always welcoming and kind, I know your mother will continue to live in the hearts of her daughters and grandchildren.
