It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Philip Eduardo de Barros on February 29, 2024, at the age of 46 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 9 years Alanna, his son Daniel, his sister Adrienne, his parents Grace and Edward de Barros, and numerous other family members. He will also be missed by his boys, and his friends near and far.

Phil was a proud and loving father, husband, and son. And was truly filled with genuine love for everyone he met. Phil was beacon of light in the world, a visionary, an accomplished builder and a man of many passions- including Music, Food, Fishing, Snowboarding, Mountain Life, and Russian Banya. Phil truly lived his life to the fullest.

Phil was the GOAT.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, , Mississauga, on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 6-9 pm and Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Hurontario St., (HWY 10, N. of Queensway.) Mississauga, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 9:30 am. Entombment at Assumption Catholic Mausoleum, 6933 Tomken Road, (at Derry Rd.) Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in the name of Philip de Barros to Make-A-Wish Canada.
