Our condolences to Judith and the whole family. We are so saddened to hear of Peter's passing. I remember so fondly the great times at St. Stephen's. Peter was a member of the choir. He used to say we had five sections in the choir: soprano, alto, tenor, bass and "biass" in his Australian accent. I don't know how to spell it but I can still hear him say it.
I was the choir director at that time and you could not have found a more dependable choir member and friend. We may not be able to attend the funeral because one of the choirs we sing in has a concert at the same time but we will be there in spirit. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family at the sad time.
“My deepest sympathies and loving thoughts are with Judith and Peter's cherished family at this time.”
Our thoughts and love to the Barkla family during this sad time. Remembering a friendly smile and a great dad that created a positive environment to raise happy and successful children. An amazing legacy.
Uncle Peter was a lovely gentle man. He will be greatly missed by many. I have wonderful childhood memories of Uncle Peter and of the times our families spent together. Love to all xx
our most sincere condolences
