My sincerest condolences to the Jones and extended family. Our hearts are with you. This absolutely described Pete best - a warm heart and a dry British sense of humour, always ready with a witty remark in the most unexpected moments. At the time my eyes rolled probably louder than any other child around, but looking back, his witty remarks and nicknames he gave me always made the smile and laugh.
I enjoyed the few minutes of conversation with Peter. My wife and I enjoyed every conversations we had with Peter and Lorna.
May his soul rest in peace.
As we gather with heavy hearts to remember and honor Peter, my neighbour for the past 25 years. It’s difficult to put into words what someone like Peter meant to those around him—not just as a neighbour, but as a friend, a familiar face, and a quiet, steady presence in our lives.
His passing leaves a void not just on our street, but in our hearts. Yet, even in our sorrow, we can be grateful for the time we shared. Twenty-five years of neighborly trust, shared seasons, and mutual respect is no small thing—it’s a legacy of community that will not be forgotten.
Peter, thank you for being a good neighbor, and a good man. You will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered.
May you rest in peace.
My heartfelt condolences to Lorna and family at this very sad time. Peter and Lorna have been wonderful friends for the past 20years. Peter will be sadly missed.
Lorna may the Lord bless and comfort you and your family through this difficult time time. Hugh
I have known Pete and Lorna for about 50 years and it has been a friendship that was always very special. Lorna and I worked together and our boys played hockey together and Pete and I had many conversations over the years and for that time I will always be grateful. Fly high Pete with the birds you have always loved.
