Peter Henry Olijnyk

July 6, 1939 - May 16, 2023

Passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Donna (2003). Beloved father of Patricia and Jerry (Sandra). Cherished Dido of Matthew (Teeana), Ryan, Katie, Jeffrey, Aimee, Jack, and James. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Bob Fedurko (Martha) and Roman Fedurko (Cathy). He will be remembered fondly by his nephews Terry and Andrew, nieces Lisa and Luba, great niece Meagan and great nephew Joshua. He will be missed by his adoring dog, Rouja, and all his family and friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, on Tuesday, May 23rd from 6-9 pm, Panachyda at 7pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 24th at 10am. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.

My deepest condolences go out to two of my closest childhood friends and their family.

He was incredibly kind and funny, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His unique character made him stand out at gatherings, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. I'll never forget how he used to tease me about not being clean-shaven, always poking fun in good humor. He held onto old-school values and morals, which he graciously shared with those around him. His presence will be dearly missed, and his memory will forever be cherished.

Never forgotten.
