January 18, 1931 -  December 26, 2021


Our beloved Dad passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Hospital on December 26 2021. He was a resident at The Elden of Bradford since September 01 2020.

He was born in Tomar Portugal on January 18 1931. He imigrated to Canada on June 1966. He was joined in Canada by his wife and two daughters on Jan 08 1967.

He retiered from Christie Brown Bakey, where he worked for over 25 years in the sanitation department.

Dad will be deeply missed by his daughters Teresa Guinot (Armenio) and Anabela Martins (Armandino). He was a loving Grandfather to Darlene Guinot, Daniel Martins, Richard Guinot, and Lori Ann Vandekerckhove.

He also leaves behind his great grandchildren which he loved, adored and cherished very much. Noah, Jakob, Aiden, Kayla, Sofia, Madison, Aubrey, and Natalie.

The family is forever grateful to all the staff at The Elden for the loving care they provided. A special thanks goes to all the Doctors and Nurses at Southlake Regional Hospital.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Friends may call at St. John's Dixie "Magnolia Chapel", 737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, on Monday, January, 3, 2022. Funeral service will be held following the visitation. Interment will take place immediately following the Funeral service at St. John's Dixie Cemetery.
