In Celebration of

Pawlicki "Steve" Etienne

October 4, 1928 - May 9, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Etienne (Steve) Pawlicki announce his natural and peaceful passing which occurred on Saturday, May 9, 2020.

A Belgium native, it was in 1953 when Steve migrated to Canada with his mother, brother and sister, and where he raised his family. With his plumbing and construction trade skills Steve had a long and successful career during Canada's longest period of industrial and economic prosperity.

Whether at work or at play, Steve was a natural who executed and operated in the proper way. His work and guidance was from a broad perspective of experience. He was a svelte and a sophisticated social butterfly, never missing a beat. Always arriving in thoughtful presence and attire, contributing to make everything merry. He was exceptionally passionate with his harmonica. He was a devoted Catholic and an exemplary tenor soloist of the choir. He had all of the construction tools in the world. He loved his collectible swords and model boats. He had endless stories and experiences in life to share.

Steve is left by his loving wife, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren, his extended family and friends. He will always be remembered for his understanding, his generosity, his passion and gentle strength.

Due to current restrictions, a private Funeral Service in memory of Etienne will be held. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at a later date.
