In loving memory of our mother, Pauline Gadsby, who passed away on February 6th, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born to the late Wilmouth and Gwendolyn Romeo in St John’s, Antigua on October 2, 1945. Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Kelvin Gadsby and brother Robin Romeo. She is survived by her son Michael (Laura), and daughter Chantal (Robert). As well, survived by 3 grandchildren; Hayden, Jacy, and Faith. And sister’s; Jackie Romeo, Julie Harvey, and Sherrol Romeo, with nieces; Patice Romeo, Mia Harvey, Chenowa George, Real Hamilton-Romeo, Nyasha Romeo, and friends who knew and loved her.

Pauline graduated from the Caribbean Union College, located in Trinidad, in 1965 with a Secretary/Business Administration certificate. And was employed by the College until she left to immigrate to Canada in 1969 with her close friend Rose.

Our mother was a practical, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her children before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage, respect and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Growing up, Pauline was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or guidance in our life. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

The funeral service will be held at Turner & Porter (Peel) on Monday, February 20th, 2023. Viewing will be at 2pm, and the funeral at 3pm, reception service will follow. Flowers, our mother loved flowers and plants, can be sent to; Turner & Porter 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8
