June 25, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of Paul Joseph Beauchesne, who passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2024 at Ian Anderson House in Oakville.
Born June 22nd, 1957 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Paul lived an incredibly full and accomplished life both personally and professionally. After a distinguished 35 year career with BMO, where he was reputed as a strategic thinker and exemplary leader, he retired in 2017. Redefining “retirement”, he became both a part-time Accounting professor at Centennial College and excelled in his new found passion as a student at George Brown’s Culinary Arts program. An avid reader, Paul lined his bookshelves with literature on his many passions and interests including travel, faith, history, golf, cooking and baking. If there was a book on the subject, Paul wanted to read it and share his learnings with all those around him. A committed fan of Notre Dame and the New England Patriots, he was always sure to make reference to a winning game with you during a visit. Paul always found the time to make a personal contribution to the local communities in which he lived and worked.
Loving husband of 42 years, to Cathy, devoted father to Jennifer, Patrick (Jessica) and Matthew (Laura), and proud grandfather to Sam, Henry, Everly and Connor.
Son of the late Noe and Rita Beauchesne. Survived by his brothers John, Mark (Carole), Vin, Chris, Mike (Kristina) and predeceased by his sister, Teresa (Ken). Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be so greatly missed by his family and all his friends made over the years.
Paul and his family extend sincere thanks to the team at Ian Anderson House for their warmth, compassion and support throughout his last days.
Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Neweduk" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Paul and family kindly request donations be sent in his name to either Ian Anderson House Foundation (https://www.ianandersonhouse.com/donate/) or ShareLife (https://sharelife.org/donate/)
As requested by Paul a private family only mass and interment will be held.
