Peacefully on Friday May 24, 2019 at the Credit Valley Hospital in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Janet for over 64 years. Loving father of Kathleen Hayward, Lawrence (Johanna), Anne Tranfaglia (Jimmy), Peter (Barb) and Mark. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Mary-Anne, Emily, Paul, Adrian, John, Daniel and Robert. He is also pre-deceased by his sister Suzanne Thompson. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk-Erin Mills’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills Pkwy), on Monday from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. Interment Springcreek Cemetery.

He was my first manager at Ontario Hydro. A terrific guy who always had time for his staff. I looked forward to seeing him at semi annual pensioner lunches. He will be missed.
