Paul Charles Ohlke

July 4, 1950 -  December 2, 2024

Paul Charles Ohlke, 74, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2024, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, after a long battle with end-stage lung disease. Born July 4th, 1950, in Kingston, Ontario, to the late Frank Russel Ohlke and Iva Dawn Ohlke, Paul was an avid learner and devoted educator. He earned his degree in Geography from Queen’s University and degree in Education from the University of Toronto, spending 20 years as a beloved teacher of woodworking, electricity and electronics in the Peel District School Board.

Paul was known for his kind, witty and generous spirit, his love of golf and hunting, and his deep appreciation for history and the simpler things life has to offer.

He is survived by his children, Emma and Lucas Ohlke, Ryan Irving, and Andrew Morton.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Erindale, 3041 Mississauga Road, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one or more of the following in Paul's memory: the Lung Health Foundation, CAMH Foundation, the SickKids Foundation.

The funeral will be live-streamed, a link will be made available on this site the day prior.
