It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Patricia Howorth, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday October 6th, 2019 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John Howorth (2002), devoted mother of Paul and Marie-Françoise, Anne Marie and John Welch, Bernard and Brenda, Larry and Christine, Betty Claire and Gene Martin, and Brian and Ruth. Proud Nana of Matthew (Gaelle) and Pierre (Thi-My); Katherine Carey (Scott); Allison Yantzi (Andrew), Lauren (Lucas), Kevin (Sydney), Leanne (Nick) and the late Jonathan (1988); John (Jessica) and Alexandra; Jeffrey (Roz), Andrew, and Tricia (Kevin); Sarah and Brendan; and Great-Nana to Greyson and Jaxon Carey, and Evelynn Yantzi. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Clement and Cecilia Cahill, and her sisters and brothers, Sister Imelda Cahill, Ray Cahill (Pat), Mary Morris (Ray), Rev. Lawrence Cahill, Bernard Cahill and John Cahill. Patricia and John were married at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church in Toronto in 1950, and raised their family on Rathgar Avenue in Etobicoke, where they attended St. Clements Parish. Patricia dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed spending time with all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren…she will be dearly missed!

Friends may call at the Turner and Porter, Neweduk Chapel (1981 Dundas Street W, Mississauga) on Thursday October 10th, 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church (2300 Burnhamthorpe Road West, Mississauga) on Friday October 11th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga).
