March 18, 1923 - April 17, 2017

Patricia (Pat) Hicks Williams (nee Dodds), passed away peacefully at 94 with her family by her side, on Monday, April 17th, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Hicks and the late Roger Williams. Loving mother of Julie Reynolds (Steve) and Susan Wright (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Jake, Stephanie, Jennifer, Matthew and Griffin. Sister of Audrey (Herb), Hugh (Dora), Lorraine (Charlie), Dorothy (Roger), Doug (Shirley), all predeceased. If desired, donations may be made to the Humane Society to honour Pat's devotion to animals.

I'm was so very saddened to hear the news about Great Aunt Pat..... what a tremendous loss to the world but what an incredible mark she made with her amazing, vibrant and positive energy! She truly was the center of the room wherever she went. I have the most amazing memories of Great Aunt Pat.. looked so forward to spending every Christmas Eve at her beautiful place with our eclectic "cast of characters" (aka... our wonderful family) all those years. I remember every single detail of those special nights, like they were yesterday, and it was Great Aunt Pat who truly made them so special and memorable for all of us.

Although an enormous loss, we share a sense of relief knowing that she is at peace now and her strong energy will surround all of us forever. Hoping that with time comes healing.

Dear Susan, Julie and Families ~
I'm so sad to hear of your Mom's recent passing. For many years she was the glue that held our larger family together. Always smiling, always upbeat, always entertaining, your Mom was "larger than life" in many ways.
I lost my Mom, Lorraine, last year around this time so I understand what you're going through. My heart and prayers are with you as you mourn her loss. I would encourage you to celebrate her life and its impact on each of you.
She shall be missed.
