God decided he needed a special angel by his side and called Pasqualina home on January 11, 2021 at the age of 89. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Raimondo (2013).
She will forever be loved and cherished by her children Felice (Antonietta) and Maria Zaicos (Chris). A devoted Nonna to Duane (Sara), Michael Zaicos (Serena) and Nicholas Zaicos. Loving Bis-Nonna to Max.
Born in Campotosto L’Aquila, Italy, Pasqualina was the oldest daughter of Rizierio and Rosa (Ponzi). She will be missed by her loving siblings; Luigina (Bruno), Renzo (Anna), Marcella (Antonio), Romeo (Maria) and the late Renata (Luigi). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, who in her own quiet way she kept dearly in her heart.
Pasqualina was also known to many as Firmina, a nickname given to her by her father, when he returned home from his stationed military post, a beautiful town called Santa Firmina, which reminded him of his oldest daughter.
Her devotion for her family was evident in the many sacrifices she made, so they could have a better life. This will be carried in our hearts and guide us to do the same for our family.
There are no words to describe the absence we feel with our mother no longer being with us, however, Mamma will always live in our hearts with the memories and teachings she instilled in us that we will honour and carry through our lives passing onto many future generations.
A special thank you to all the staff and friends at Amica City Centre. Your devotion to our Mother will always be fondly remembered.
If desired, donations in memory of Pasqualina can be made to Sick Kids Hospital or Diabetes Canada.
A private family service will be held.
Arrangements entrusted to Turner & Porter "Peel Chapel".
