In Celebration of

Oscar Ivan Ibagon

October 2, 1966 -  September 8, 2018

Loving Husband of Maria Elena. Cherished Father of Santiago and Efrain. Beloved Son of the late Antonio and Violette. Special Brother of Sandra, Victor, John Jairo and Diego. The best uncle for Felipe, Mateo, Luisa, Natalia, Samuel, Emily, Anita, Paloma and Max

The people that were blessed to have Oscar in their lives remember him as a joyful man of God, with a heart full of kindness. It was almost impossible not to smile when speaking to him or being around him. He was welcoming and always had a joke to tell, that would turn any bad day to good. Oscar did everything with love. It breaks our hearts to know that we no longer have him in our lives to share laughs and good times, but we know he is rejoicing in heaven.

His amazing fun loving personality will never be forgotten as well as his amazing faith and love for our heavenly Father.

Those who so desire may make donations to the family can do it at

Oscar, my friend, it breaks my heart to know that I’ll never see you again. Even though we hadn’t been in contact for quite a long time, I always loved you as my brother.
María Elena, no words can express my sadness. From the distance I send you and your kids a huge hug, and all my thoughts and prayers are with you. LAFD
