In Celebration of

Ormonde Patrick Cudahy

March 21, 1935 -  January 17, 2025

Ormonde Patrick Cudahy, beloved husband, brother, uncle, friend and true gentleman, passed away peacefully in Oakville, Ontario on January 17, 2025.

Ormonde, known affectionately as Pat, is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Shirley (Lee) Bourke, and his brother Denis (Claudia) of Ottawa. Shirley is not only saddened but devastated by this loss which is also shared by his dearest niece Elizabeth (Aaron) and his great niece Chloe. His passing has left a void in the hearts of those whose lives were touched by him. Ormonde was predeceased by his parents Violet Cooke (2000) and Ormonde Cudahy (1987), siblings Lynda Cudahy Miziolek (2020), Bernard Cudahy (2022), and nephew Captain Patrick Cudahy (2024). He was the cherished Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ormonde did everything with integrity and honesty. He was admired by all who met him for his fierce independence, individualism, and clarity of thought. He loved and attracted all feather and fur-bearing friends with whom he crossed paths, and was adored by his cats and dogs, Rippy, Buck, Kelly and Finney.

There are no words to properly thank their neighbors who became friends and were always there.

May Ormonde Patrick Cudahy’s memory be a blessing.

I’ve never met a man who loved chocolate more than myself. He was a kind , sweet man who loved Lee with all that he had. I’m honoured to say he was a friend. He will never be forgotten. XO

Always a dapper polite guy. Pat gave me an excellent reference for the TD and I was hired. Those crisp white shirts and perfectly tied tie with a lint free suit. I cannot forget the image topped off with a beaming smile !! Disturb a few folks while you are at your new abode, Pat !!

My heartfelt condolences to you, Lee, and to other family members and friends who've suffered this loss. I am grateful that you asked Elizabeth to contact me. I am away but did receive the message she left on my home phone. I will be in touch later when I return from California. I wish you strength and comfort in your memories of the long life you and Pat shared. Warren
