April 9, 1935 - March 10, 2020

LYSAK, Orest, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Mach 10, 2020. Predeceased by his father, Harasym (1976) and by his mother Julia (2008). He will be sadly missed by his godson, Leo and close friends in Canada, USA and Ukraine. Resting at Turner and Porter Funeral Home, Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West. Visitation on Thursday March 12 from 6-9 pm. Panakhyda/Service at 7:30 pm. Divine Liturgy to be celebrated from St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (143 Franklin Avenue) on Friday, March 13, at 1:30 pm. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. The family is collecting donations for the Orphans of Ukrainian Soldiers Fund called Open Your Heart.

I will miss my phone calls that always started with " how are you doing kid ".......... your beautiful heart and gentle soul will forever be etched in my memory of you.
