In Celebration of

Olive Yovorsky

August 24, 1936 -  February 14, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olive (Olga) Yovorsky in Toronto on February 14, 2020 at the age of 83. Beloved wife to Walter for 57 years. Loving mother to Diane (Franco) and Christine (Alex). Exceptional Baba to Andrew, Peter and Matthew. She will be greatly missed by sister Virginia (Richard), sister-in-law Pat (Uwe), brother-in-law Mike (Marian) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Olga was a French teacher in Grimsby and Toronto for many years before stopping to raise her daughters. She returned to teaching once they were older and enjoyed teaching ESL to adults in Toronto before retiring.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.

We will miss your proud stories of your dearly loved grandsons and the general debates that would inevitably end up with a burst of laughter from everyone involved. You are already very much missed but will be forever remembered.
