Norma Moore passed away peacefully on August 23, 2020 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, at the age of 73. Over the last 6 years, she has showed tremendous courage, persistence, and resilience in her difficult journey through cancer.

Norma is the beloved wife of Fred Moore, with whom she celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on August 17, 2020. Loving mother of Alicia (Chris) Kirk, Tara (Brendan Harrigan) Moore, and (late) Cheryl Moore. Loving Grandmother to Catriona, Andrew, Teagan and Evan.

In her lifetime, Norma worked both in the banking and the insurance industries. She also made a meaningful contribution to her community through her volunteer work. She has volunteered at the Credit Valley Hospital, as a Girl Guide leader, and at her church. Her commitment to her church was unwavering as she continued to volunteer well into the later stages of her cancer treatments.

Norma enjoyed travelling with her husband Fred, and was able to make the journey to Jerusalem twice, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Aside from travel, Norma enjoyed watching professional baseball and caring for her beloved dogs. Most importantly, Norma loved her family and took pride in her roles as a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Norma will be missed by all who loved her, but we can find strength in knowing that with her strong Christian faith, she is now at peace.
