Norma passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her loving son Steven (Deanna), son in law Joe Dempster, daughter in law Nicole Landry and six grandchildren Spencer, Amanda (Mitchell), Zachary, Samaeya Martin, Kylie and Calvin Dempster. Norma also leaves behind one great granddaughter “the most beautiful baby in the world” Charlotte and her niece and best friend Betty. She is predeceased by her daughter Susan (Dempster) and her husband Joe of 52 years.
Norma was a school teacher who starting in a one room school house to Orchard Heights and finally retiring at Neil Mathieson after 38 years.
Norma loved to socialize and enjoyed a good party. She accepted everyone for who they are and was non-judgmental.
Special thank you to all the staff at the retirement home in Calgary and Mississauga who took such good care of Norma.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario St., Misssissauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. and a Funeral Service beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Entombment Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
