It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norah Jane Bebbington, who died peacefully at The Credit Valley Hospital on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the age of 98. Norah was predeceased by her much loved Husband, George, and her 3 sisters and brother. Although she and George had no children, she was blessed with an extensive family of nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren, both in the UK and in Canada. Independent well into her 90s, she and George had lived in the same house in Mississauga since the 1950’s, soon after emigrating from England. Norah was a pretty and caring person who was generous with her time. Indeed, she and George spent every year visiting family, wherever in the world they lived. She was also a thoughtful and attentive host, who enjoyed spoiling her family and friends during their frequent visits to their home.

Rest in peace, beloved Aunty.

Friends may visit at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, (Hwy 10 N of QEW) from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 with a Celebration of Norah’s life to begin at 1:00 pm.
