In Celebration of

Noel Moore

December 24, 1935 -  January 19, 2024

On Friday January 19th in the early hours of the morning Noel lost his battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Valerie, his son Peter and his wife Muniza and grandsons Saim and Aaidh, his daughter Karen and her husband Rick Mercier and Noel’s grandson David Noel Webb. Noel's son William James predeceased him December 28, 2022.

Noel fought his battle bravely with everything he had. He truly loved life and was an avid golfer. He also loved to travel and did it often with Valerie and their friends.

He was a family man through and through, and loved nothing more than being surrounded by family. He was happiest when he was loving his wife, teasing his kids, doting on his grandkids, and of course, golfing.
He always looked after himself so that he could fight this battle. Both he and Valerie worked at keeping him healthy and he had no other medical issues which was amazing at his age.

As a teenager Noel went to live with Mrs. Flanagan in her boarding house straight from Children’s Aid and made some long term friends there. He then went to B&J Music, where he had a wonderful career. He started in the warehouse in 1952, at 17 years old, where he eventually became the Executive Vice President, General Manager and Sales Manager, all at the same time! He retired from B&J in December 2004. His career journey is truly inspiring.

Noel was always active even after he retired. He enjoyed doing renovations to the house in Toronto and building a deck with friends at their home in Florida.

Sadly, we have had our lives changed again forever. He is deeply loved and cherished.

Visitation will take place on Sunday January 28, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. West, Toronto, Ontario M9A 1B6

Noel was a wonderful man, his office door was always open and he was always willing to lend a helping hand as no problem was too big or too small. Over the years he personally helped me through a number of personal family issues which I am forever grateful for.
He had a big smile and an even bigger heart, I will always remember this kind man who took me on as the "Drum Guy" and he believed in me
I'll never forget you Noel, R.I.P. my friend
