With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Nina Moskaliuk on March 17, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital. She is survived by her brother Wiktor, sister-in-law Dr. Christina Kowalsky, niece Tamara (goddaughter), nephew Daniel, and extended family in Poland and Ukraine. Predeceased by her parents, Stefania and Adam.
Born in Coventry, UK, she immigrated to Canada in 1967 with her family to Toronto. Nina graduated from Humber College’s Business/Medical Secretarial Program. She worked at Princess Margaret Hospital before moving to Vancouver with her husband, Dr. John Pullerits. Upon returning to Toronto, she contributed to the Opera House Corporation and later became the executive assistant to Hon. Paul Hellyer, assisting in the publication of over thirteen books during her 31-year tenure.
A passionate lover of the arts, Nina enjoyed opera, ballet, classical music, and literature. She was an avid traveler, winter sports enthusiast, and sailor, with a love for gardening, puzzles, and needlepoint. Her vibrant spirit, independence, and warmth will be deeply missed.
