It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Niculina Dubu , who left this world peacefully at St Joseph Health Centre on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the age of 79.

Niculina (Nela) was born in Slatioara, OLT, Romania, on July 14 1945. Nela moved in Craiova after completing her Commercial school and relocated in Toronto in 2008, building many memories she cherished throughout her life.

Nela was ready to help and embodied the values of generosity and selflessness.

Nela was a loving and cherished wife to Ion Dubu, a loving mother to her daughter Julieta Adela, a wonderful grandmother to Andreea and Eduard, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Claudiu.

She was a good step mother to Marian and Aurelia, a loving step grandmother to Bogdan, Alexandru and Andrei, and a great sister in law to Stela, Aurel and Costica. Her many stories and advises will be dearly missed.

Nela was predeceased by her first husband Mihail Misu (who was Julieta’s father), parents Ion and Anica, and brothers Marin and Jane.

Nela you will be dearly missed by your entire family. We will take comfort in our memories of you, and you will be forever in our hearts. You are at peace now, in a garden with many flowers, light, butterflies, Mihail Misu, your parents, brothers.

Family and friends are invited to Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke, Ontario on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1pm.
