In Celebration of

Nicola Anthony Purri

April 24, 1962 -  January 3, 2021

We are very saddened by the sudden death of our dear brother Nick. Everyone who knew him recognized the gentleness and kindness that was the very core of him. He was always ready with a smile. He did not make his mark in the world with grand gestures but with the basic goodness and generosity of his character. He was a devoted son, a loyal and caring brother, and was especially dedicated to the happiness of his nieces and nephew. Nick was predeceased by his father Angelo and will be sadly missed by his mother Sara, his sisters Victoria (Leny) and Grace (Tony), his brothers Frank (Clara) and Vince, his nieces Rebecca, Alessandra and Abigail, his nephew Noah, as well as his favourite Uncle Nick and family.

He will also be missed by his extended family members, the many cousins, and aunts of the Perduti clan, both here and in Italy. Nick had many long-term friendships that began in high school and on the soccer field and they continued to be part of his social circle. He leaves a void in all of our hearts.

He enjoyed a long tenure at Earth Fresh Foods where he worked as a supervisor. Many of his co-workers have reached out to us and we thank them for their memories and support.

Nick was an avid sports fan and still had hopes that his favourite team, the Maple Leafs would one day win the Stanley Cup.

Although you are no longer with us, you will live forever in our hearts and memories.

A mass in celebration of Nick’s life will be held when it is possible.

A private family service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021.

What can be said that hasnt been said already. All the great things that have been said about my brother are true.He used to love sitting and talking about old friends and better days. The guys of old that he hadn't seen in years was always a question he would ask."what's mario doing ? Hows frenchie?have you seen Lino?.he always asked about everyone.he had a photographic memory .he didnt forget anything or anybody.if where ever he is has a hockey arena you can bet he's got the gold seat.until we meet again big brother I'll think of you everyday I have left in this sweet life.Thank you for being my brother I'm so sorry I couldn't help you more.
