Beloved Husband to Karen, Father to Jenny and Chrissy, Grandfather to Bentley, Son of Antonina and the late Antonio, Brother to Joe, Grace, Maria Fatima, and Mike, Brother-in-law to Greg, Basanti, Helen, Robert and Fernando, Uncle to Chantelle, Alisia, Natasha, Christopher, Gabriel, and Great Uncle to Aliyana and Nastaiya and our cousins, extended family and friends.

Those that knew Nelson, knew you could always count on him, he was a protector, a great cook, and a man who had lived well, laughed often and loved his family endlessly. He never asked for much but always gave to those he loved and cared for with such abundance. Whether it was through his bell let's talk day or calling you on your birthday and singing the entire birthday song to you on your special day. Although his time with us was short, we honour him today, as we all gained one of the best guardian angels.

As we mourn the loss of a role model, friend, and confidant, the family asks that you support a cause that was important to Nelson and his family. We are asking for you to consider contributions to The Heart and Stroke Foundation in his honour in place of flowers.
