In Celebration of

Nellie Dato

July 13, 1949 -  March 18, 2020

Passed away peacefully at the Dorothy Ley Hospice on March 18, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Bo. Adoring mother of Kathy and Michael. Survived by her siblings, Aida (Luis), Alberto Jr., Sylvia (Edwin), Priscilla and Fernando.

She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and by many family and friends. Nellie has left us with the blessings of unconditional love, laughter, acceptance, kindness, spirit of life, friendship, and the importance of gratitude. She enriched the lives of all those who knew her.

Due to the current public health situation, and for the safety of the Dato family and friends, a formal visitation and funeral will not be taking place. A private service will be held.

A celebration of Nellie’s life will take place at a later date. We thank you for your compassion and understanding during this difficult time.

Rest in peace dearest Nellie, you will always be in my prayers. You showed an extraordinary courage in battling your complicated illness and I admire you for that. I am honored to have been your support via messages and phone conversations which I enjoyed and now terribly missing. Love you much Nellie.
