In Celebration of

Nathan John Reilly

August 10, 1985 -  May 1, 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of, Nathan John Reilly, on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Nathan is the treasured son of Penny and David Reilly(deceased), beloved brother of Heather Saigeon (Sean), nephew to Tim Redmann and Ian Waldron, cherished uncle to Piper, River and Emmi(squishy), dear grandson to Anne Reilly, and to deceased grandparents, Bill Reilly, Ewald and Betty Redmann. Nathan was also an amazing friend to many.

Nathan taught for the Peel District School Board since 2009. He was an enthusiastic educator, coach and mentor, completely devoted to his students at Balmoral Senior Public School. He will fondly be remembered for his good natured fun, kindness, and of course, his colourful matching shirt and shoes. He was also the teacher who could build and 'make stuff'. He spoke highly of the staff at Balmoral and proudly about 'his' kids.

Nate also had a love for golf and, for 20 years, worked at Centennial Park Golf Centre. Most recently, he enjoyed instructing at the Junior Camps that he helped to develop. He will be dearly missed by the many golf friends that he made over the years.

Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Turner & Porter, "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga.

A Livestream link may also be accessed from the website. Link to be provided here 24 hours prior to Service.

To honour Nathan's love for teaching, the family would welcome a donation to the Peel Learning Foundation. https://www.peellearningfoundation.org/donate Please use the Feedback box to indicate a donation in Memory of Nathan.

Donations to the Foundation may also be made through the school.

I still can’t believe you’re gone. I’ll miss your laugh, morning visits and matching outfits. You were always so good to the ICOM students - they looked forward to Science class all the time and I loved hearing about all the fun they had building, creating and learning with you. Rest in eternal peace, Nathan. I hope you left us knowing how much you were truly cared about. You will be missed.

Nathan was very compassionate. He truly cared for students and he was always there to lend a helping hand. Nathan will be dearly missed by present and former Balmoral staff and students. We will always remember his kindness, humour and his fresh outfits. Rest in Peace Nathan.
