Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Village of Humber Heights Care Centre, at the age of 94.

Beloved husband of Hazel for 73 years. Devoted father of the late Maria (late Son-in-law Peter Spinatsch) and Elaine (Son-in-law Taras Stadnyk). Adored grandfather to Adrianna, Katherine and Tamara.

Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Neweduk- Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 5-9 p.m. Panachyda 7:30 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at All Saints of the Ukraine Chapel, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Mr. Baldeckyj may be made to Canada-Ukrainian Foundation to the Myhal Family Foundation

My deepest condolences to the family. 🙏
I will always remember Pan Baldeckyj as a kind and generous person. His dedication and passion for Ukrainian dance were truly inspiring. Thanks to him and the Vesnianka Dance Ensemble, I was able to maintain my love for Ukrainian dance and meet my first friends as an immigrant. I will forever cherish the memories of our conversations about the importance of family values, his stories of early life in Canada, and his excitement about finally visiting Ukraine after many years. May he rest in peace. 🕊️ Вічна Пам’ять.
