Muriel Michiyo Nishihama

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Muriel Michiyo Nishihama in her seventy-seventh year, on December 28, 2023.

She was the loved daughter of Takashi (predeceased) and Yaeko (predeceased) Nishihama and dear big sister to Cathy (predeceased) and Wayne. Muriel will be missed dearly by nephew David (Corrie) and nieces Midori (Mark), Emily and Laura and her best friends Wendy Rymal and Marion Harris.

Muriel was a dedicated career teacher for the Toronto District School Board. We wish to express our gratitude for the loving care given to Muriel during her illness by Wendy, Marion, Kathy Marinkovic and Dr. Amir. According to Muriel’s wishes, there will be no funeral.
