Mireille Tourangeau

October 6, 1979 -  March 6, 2020


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mireille (Mimi) Tourangeau (nee El Boustany), on March 6, 2020 at age 40. Mimi, beloved wife and best friend of Vincent Tourangeau, and loving Mama of Jean-Pierre is deeply missed. Mimi was born in Beirut, Lebanon, the cherished daughter of Iskandar El Boustany (deceased, Amaret Chalhoub Zalka, Lebanon) and Irene Bachir (Sakiyat El Misk, Lebanon), and sister to Jean-Pierre El Boustany (deceased); daughter-in-law to Ronald Tourangeau and Bernadette Tourangeau (deceased); sister-in-law to Casey and Joan Tourangeau, and aunt to Finn. Mimi is remembered with much love by many family members, friends and colleagues around the world.

Celebration of Life hosted at Gaslight Bar,1426 Bloor St. W, Toronto , on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 5 p.m. to close. All are welcome to drop in. (Update: Due to Covid19, this event has been postponed. Date TBD.)

After one of our visits with Mimi, she texted me and Sarah Mac "Life is so hard, but it's funny how throughout the journey you meet amazing people that makes the road brighter. I am so happy to have met you ladies! You made my day brighter and you make the journey easier xoxo"

She made all our lives brighter and better - she touched so many with her kindness, wisdom, generousity and just being MIMI. Vince and Jean-Pierre, please know that Mimi was loved and she will always be in our hearts. My condolences to you, your family and all hearts Mimi has touched. Much Love!!

I only met Mimi a handful of times, but she was so much fun and a joy to be around. My heart goes out to her family and friends at this awful time. She's been taken from you all much too soon.
