It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of Milorad “Serpa” Kojic on February 24th, 2021 in Revelstoke, British Columbia. It was here that Milorad spent his final days doing what he loved, skiing with his family and close friends. Milorad is the loving husband to Milena Kojic and beloved father to Aleksandar and Stefan Kojic. He is also a dear brother to Zora Vlajic.

Milorad was an accomplished high school teacher in the Toronto District School Board for over 20 years. During his career Milorad was a strong leader and mentor to his students and colleagues throughout the years. After his retirement, Milorad continued to express his loving, selfless, and kind personality to his family, friends, and everyone he met. He was an avid reader, sun lover, passionate sports fan and basketball player. Milorad will be dearly missed by his family and friends, as he made a lasting impression on others in all facets of his life.

A private funeral will be held on Wednesday March 10th, 2021 at 1PM EST. Due to limitations with respect to COVID-19, in-person attendance will be by invitation only. Milorad will be laid to rest at 2PM EST at Park Lawn Cemetery at section T. The family welcomes you to come and pay your respect after this time.
