It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mieczyslaw Borawski on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 83. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Beloved Husband to Genowefa Borawska, who passed away in 2011. He will be deeply missed by his daughters; Marzena Eva with Husband Wojtek Faryna, Dorota and Husband Jozef Buczkowski and Renata with Husband Sherif Hussein. He will continue to be cherished in memory by his grand children; Patrick and Michael Faryna, Paul (with Wife Gladys and Son Jack) and Arthur (with fiancé Mary) Buczkowski, Eric and Maya Hussein.

Born in Bagienice, Poland, where he spent his formative years before moving to Canada in 1992, Mieczyslaw found his greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father figure and well respected among many of his Polish friends whom he loved to host with enthusiasm and entertain with singing and dancing. A dedicated Catholic who enjoyed leading prayers, Mieczyslaw grew up with religion on the forefront of his faith.

As an immigrant to Canada, he worked diligently to build a better life for his family. He always showered his family with commitment, forgiveness, and mutual respect creating countless beautiful memories in his home, surrounded by a pristine garden and inviting laughter heard within.

Mieczyslaw found pride in elegantly dressing, pride in always being the first with offering help to others, and pride in his family who he raised in his image to carry on his legacy.
