In Celebration of

Michael "Mike" William Reginald Wargo

June 27, 1967 -  November 23, 2021

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Michael (Mike) William Reginald Wargo on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Beloved son to Lesley and Alan; brother to Lisa (Max) & David (Jessica) and uncle to Phoebe and Finlay, nephew to Ann (John), Ray, Kathy (Rob) and Franda (Steven)
Despite the challenges he faced throughout his life, most recently a serious surgical procedure, Michael remained focused on being supportive and helpful to his friends and neighbours, especially the seniors, driving them to appointments, shopping and keeping them company.
An avid sports fan, Michael never let anyone forget that he was born in the year of the Maple Leafs’ last Stanley Cup win.
Michael is deeply missed by his family and his many loyal friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a financial donation in Michael’s memory be made to the Oakville Food Bank - oakvillefoodbank.com

My condolences to the entire Wargo family. Mike was a good friend of mine throughout school, a teammate of mine in minor hockey & baseball and a neighbor in the Sheridan Homelands. Thanks to social media we had reconnected, had some great chats & hoped to meet up. I hope you all find peace during this difficult time and can share your memories amongst family & friends

So sorry for your loss. Mike and I shared some deep talks, didn't always agree, but we still loved and respected each other and our differences of opinions. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. He had a big heart and loving nature. He was constantly fighting demons both his and others. I hope he now has peace. With love.
