I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Michael for the past two years as a member of White Eagle staff. I sat and talked with Michael extensively at meals and in other moments of leisure for him. During these chats, Michael shared countless stories, anecdotes, pearls of wisdom (I doubt he even knew how wise he was), and level-headed advice for me. He was a profoundly kind and gentle person in my estimation, and one we should all be so lucky to have as influences.
Michael was a remarkable individual, and one who I consider myself sincerely privileged to have known. He was my friend and I miss him deeply. White Eagle and I are so much better for having known Michael. My condolences to Michael's family and friends. We all share in this loss.
May God comfort all those in the Mallon family, through Mary, at this sad time.
I will miss my Scabble games with Michael.
May God rest his soul.
What a wonderful intelligent kind man Michael was. I was blessed to have met him when I visited my great uncle. Soon I began to also visit Michael and looked forward to seeing his smiling face. I loved listening to his stories. When my great uncle passed away Michael and I continued our friendship by email. He will be greatly missed. I think of our visits often and how fortunate I was to have met this loving gentleman.
